GRACIE
PACH Pastime's Goodness Gracious AX AXJ MXP4 MXPB MJP5 MJPS PAX OFP T2BP
Gracie was turned in to Pug Rescue of Sacramento by her owner when she was 2 years old, because their new work schedule meant she was home for most of the day alone. The situation led to behavior issues, and they felt it was in her best interest to find her a new home. I picked her up, intending to keep her for a few days, but realized that her high energy and intense focus would make a great agility dog.
She entered her first trial in 2009, and has been showing ever since. Gracie’s biggest issue is her independence, which means she often “decides” to do it her way, not the way the course map reads. She’s intense, focused, and fast. At ten years old, she is faster now than when she first started showing.
In February 2016, she acquired her PACH (Preferred Agility Championship) and PAX (Preferred Agility Excellent) titles, and has acquired the Agility Excellent (AX) and Excellent Agility Jumper (AXJ), Master Agility Excellent Preferred 4 (MXP4), Master Bronze Agility Preferred (MXPB), Master Excellent Jumpers with Weaves 5 (MJP5), Master Silver Jumpers with Weaves Preferred (MJPS), Time to Beat (T2BP), and Open Fast Preferred (OFP) titles.
Now that she's earned her Championship and has turned 11 years old, she's dialed back a little on her trialing schedule. She usually only does one day a weekend now, but has added in more venues other than AKC, such as CPE and UKI.
